The congress venue for the
26th EADPH congress in Montpellier
will be the old faculty of medecine.
Created in the XII century, the faculty of Medicine of Montpellier is the oldest faculty of Medicine in the western world still in activity. Rabelais, Lapeyronie, Chaptal, Arnaud de Villeneuve, Gui de Chauliac were students in this faculty over the century.

Getting to Montpellier : Access and transportation
The travel facilities to access to the city of Montpellier.
Along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in southern France, Montpellier has everything it takes to please.
Montpellier is vibrant, elegant and artistic. People are drawn here by the city’s rich past and present.
The Montpellier Méditerranée Airport is located just 8 km from the city center. The drive takes around ten minutes.
It is easy to get from the airport to downtown Montpellier by Airport Shuttle, by taxi or thanks to a car rental service.
The Montpellier Saint-Roch train station is located right in the center of town, just 200 meters from the Place de la Comédie. You can get to all Montpellier districts by taking the two local tramway lines, as well as by bus or taxi.
Montpellier is served by A9 and A75 motorways, the Montpellier Méditerranée International airport, which is 8 km from downtown, and the Montpellier Saint-Roch train station, located just 200 meters from downtown’s central Place de la Comédie.
Montpelier is easy to reach by plane from the main European hubs : Paris (1h10), Basel-Mulhouse (1h20) Rome (1h25), Amsterdam (1h55), London (1H45).
Getting from Montpellier to the congress
The venue is in a pedestrian area but very easy to reach with public transportation.
To facilitate your access to downtown Montpellier, use the park and ride lots just outside the city.
Get around Montpellier and surrounding area by tramway, bus, bicycle, two-wheeled vehicles, foot, tourist train, rental car and taxi.
The the easiest way to reach the venue using your car is to park in the “Parking indigo Montpellier Peyrou Pitot” at walking distance to the venue (7 rue du Carré du Roi, 34000 Montpellier).
The nearest (220m) tram stop is “Peyrou Arc de Triomphe” on Ligne 4 (gold). From the Ligne 1 (blue) the stop is “Albert 1er” and you have to walk on the “Boulevard Henri IV” during 500m.
You could rent a bike from your hotel or from the city.
Montpellier is an old city with old streets. Some streets are paved so it is not always easy to walk with heels.
